We took the girls to Santa's Village last night. We had a good time visiting each of the houses and listening to the Christmas music. The girls had a blast, some of the many things to do out there is getting a cookie from Mrs. Santa, writing a letter and mailing it to Santa, being on ELF tv, the petting zoo, playing with instruments, seeing a princess, talking with a police officer, and getting a rudolph nose. It was a lot of fun and the girls got so much candy! They had quite the sugar high last night! The pictures are not the best but it is really crowded in all the little houses!

Happy 5th Birthday Maisy!
I can't believe it either, she is already 5! It seems like she was just turning one yesterday! I do love the stage we are in with the girls. No diapers, they play well together, very few meltdowns, both girls still take naps. I can't complain. God has blessed us with amazing kids.
Maisy enjoyed her birthday! We filled her room full of balloons before she woke up. She wanted to go to Build a Bear, so after her skating lesson we took her to build a new friend. She chose a bunny and it turned out cute in a cute outfit with a tiara! She wanted to have lunch at Chick fil a and she chose spaghetti for dinner and brownies instead of cake. She still does not like cake but loves brownies...works for me! She had a fun day! In January we are planning a birthday party for her and Madi and their friends. She can't wait!
The present she got from Matthew, Finn, Amanda and Ben!

Christmas Picture
Here is one of the many pictures we took for our Christmas card picture. This one did not make the cut but it made me laugh. You see, Madi does not usually smile when you pull out the camera. She comes by this honestly because both Craig and I did not like the camera as children. So when I get her smiling I treasure it. She is a very happy, goofy, and serious child. A lot of people miss out on her goofiness because she can be quite reserved (gets this from her daddy) around other people. Maisy, well, we all know she loves the camera and people!
BTW, she was yelling "Merry Christmas" in this picture.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!
This is absolutely my favorite time of year! We have been having so much fun enjoying the season. We started off by going to the downtown Plano Christmas Tree lighting. This was special because it was what Craig and I did on our first date. Now 12 years and 2 little girls later we enjoyed it again! We saw the "live nativity", rode a horse drawn carriage, and chatted with Santa (well,Madi cried). The next day we headed off to Flower Mound to the tree farm. The same family that host the pumpkin patch we go to every year, sells trees on their farm. They had bounce houses, wood cut outs, hay maze, hay stack to climb and a train ride! Oh and Santa was there also! Boy does he make the rounds! Madi decided he was okay to talk to. After all, he handed out candy and they had cookies and hot chocolate! We have more activities planned for this weekend! So enjoy some pictures for now!

Thanksgiving week at Nana and Pawpaw's
The girls and I spent a week with Nana and Pawpaw during Thanksgiving (Craig joined us later in the week). The girls got to visit Pawpaw's fire station and play on the his fire truck, feed some ducks at the lake, and play a lot with the Uncle Kris. We had a lot of fun helping Nana get ready for Turkey Day!
