Quite the Mommy!

Maisy strolled into the kitchen this afternoon and announced that she had lots of babies! She sure does! Not as many as Octo-mom! But close!

Mommy's helper

Maddie was a big helper with dinner tonight! She was very proud to help mommy while Maisy was away at skating practice. I was busy making some vegetables and Maddie was stirring and eating the pasta out of the bowl! When I asked her what she was doing, she smiled and said, "I hungry!" What a cutie!

D-D-D Dora!

For a surprise for Maddie, we took the girls to see Dora Live this morning. Maddie really enjoys watching Dora the Explorer, so for her putting up with all the practice times Maisy has had on the ice, off we went! We even kept it a secret until we got there! Maisy was very good at keeping the secret! Maddie was very excited when she got to get a "Backpack" and a new Dora doll. We danced and jumped and "helped" Dora find the "City of Lost Toys"! Such a fun morning. We then took the girls to lunch at Chick fil a so Maddie could get her very favorite drink...chocolate milk or as Maddie calls it "chocky milk". mmmmmm!

Now and Then

I love, love, love looking back at photos of the girls and seeing how much they have changed. Here is a picture of Maisy and Maddie from this 4th, and one from 2007. Maisy was 2 1/2 and Maddie was just 6 months old....They grow up so fast!

4th of July

For the 4th we went to Breckenridge Park to watch fireworks with friends. We had a great time visiting and the girls really enjoyed playing with their friends Ella and Gracie. The girls got a chance to feed ducks, they ran around and soaked each other with water, played frisbee and ate lots of cookies! What a great evening!

Maisy's 1st Ice Recital

Maisy had an ice skating recital on Monday. Her coach used it as a dress rehearsal for her up-coming competition. She did really good! She was very excited and enjoyed it! Here are some pictures of her warming up. We did not get any video or any pictures of the performance...I think we were both nervous and excited for her! We will do better at getting some at her competition!

I thought I had better update because tomorrow is the 4th of July and there will be cute pictures to be taken!!! Here are some pictures of the girls at the skating rink. Chyanne helped Maddie skate and she did a pretty good job! Maisy was of course being a show-off for Chy-Chy!
