Maisy cooks dinner!

Maisy helped me cook dinner tonight. We made eggs, bacon and biscuits! Breakfast for dinner just sounded yummy! Maisy agreed. She had a lot of fun helping scramble the eggs. She did not get to actually help cook them but enjoyed watching it all happen!

Cooking is fun but....

Eating it is Better!!

Look at those cheeks!

Madison just turned 9 weeks old! We went to her 2 month check up yesterday and she weighed in at 11.4 lbs! Coincidentally that is the same weight Maisy was at her 2 month check up! She is doing great! She has pretty good control of her head and is flashing some pretty cute smiles! She has some pretty big cheeks as you can see in the pictures. She is sleeping through the night which mommy really appreciates!

Am I boring you Madison??

Elmo and the gang!

Saturday we went to Sesame Street Live! We had so much fun! Who knew even mom and dad would enjoy it as much as Maisy! Maisy was a bit grumpy when we first got there. She was still upset with us for not letting her play on the playground at Chick Fil A. We did not have time and she did not understand what the big rush was! So she was grumpy for about the first 20 mins of the show and all of the sudden she turned to Craig and gave him a hug and a smile! It was a very cute show! We took pictures they turned out a little fuzzy because of the dancing and lighting. There are some pictures of Maisy grumpy and we finally got one of her smiling! Yeah Elmo!! We can't wait to go next year!

Lions, Tigers, Bears...OH MY!!!!

Last Wednesday we took a trip to the zoo! We went with our friends Matthew, Amanda and Jenn. We had a fun day looking at all the animals! Maisy and Matthew enjoyed walking around together, they even held hands for a little bit! So cute! Madison just enjoyed the day sleeping in her stroller!

Visit from Pop!

Pop came for a visit a couple of Saturdays ago (I am behind on my blogging ;)). We had a good visit. Maisy enjoyed hanging out with him and playing. He even jumped in and fed Madison while we got the grill going for hamburgers! What a fun day!

Day with our cousins!!

Today we went to Mckinney to visit my sister and her family. We had a good time hanging out and doing a little shopping! Maisy loves playing with Aaron and Caleb. The boys are so gentle with Maisy and they took good care of her! The boys shared their toys with her and helped her get in her chair at lunch time. Madison mostly slept while we were there. Melissa did get a chance to give Madison a bottle, she was very hungry by the time we got there!

Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!

We had quite the fun day! Matthew, Amanda, and Jenn came over so the kids could make valentine cupcakes! They had a whole lot of fun making them even though there were a few tears shed.

For Valentine's we got Maisy a basketball hoop and ball. She had a lot of fun making baskets but has not quite figured out how to throw it in! She thinks she is playing basketball like her 10 year old friend, Chyanne. It is a fun toy, but as soon as it warms up it will have to go out in the backyard! Maddie got a big teddy bear! What else can you get for a 7-week old! Maisy has staked a claim on the bear, but as soon as she is in bed I will put it in Maddie's room! Hope everyone enjoyed your day! Much love from all of us!

Oh! and here is a picture of a very cute tooshie!

Jammie girls!!

Tuesday we spent a lazy day at home in our jammies while mommy cleaned the house. I think we did not get out of them until after our afternoon nap! We had a lot of fun just hanging around playing and watching cartoons. Mommy decided to finally put batteries in the swing downstairs and put Maddie in it! Since it was Maisy's old swing she showed her little sister how it worked and even shared her much-loved mouse with her. Here are some pictures of our day!

Maddie poses for some pictures!

Madison posed for some pictures on Monday! She did pretty good for being tired and hungry!
She is 7 weeks old and is growing like a weed. She has started to give us a few smiles and seems really interested in what we have to say. She still is looking at us a little cross-eyed but for now it is cute. She isn't bothered at all by all the noise in our house. She sleeps right through all the birds screaming and the dogs barking. She is going to fit in quite well in our zoo!
